As a make-up artist, I know that the wedding season is fast approaching! I have witnessed firsthand the mayhem behind the scenes as last minute mishaps happen and all hopes of organization fly out the window! While browsing through apps, I came across one that I felt would be very helpful for any woman planning a wedding but especially the super busy brides...it's called iWedding Deluxe. It costs $6.99 but in my opinion it's worth every penny! Check out what you will get:Saturday, January 28, 2012

No Time to Hit the Gym? Try These Small Changes and See Big Results!
Being a woman that does it all, finding time for the gym may be too far and in between! For me it’s children, work, school etc. So I asked myself just when would I be able to hit the gym? I gained almost 25 lbs from my last child and the weight wasn’t just falling off like it used to after giving birth, instead it lingered around and wore out it’s welcome! So in order to combat the weight gain, I made small changes that caused me to lose every last pound that I gained. Granted, I’m still not where I want to be so I’m going to keep going, but the baby weight is gone. These changes will not warrant a quick weight loss, but a steady, healthy one, which helps to regulate your body.....

Are Open Relationships a Solution?
I was posed a question this morning. A friend asked me if I would except my significant other having girlfriend #2 as long as he treated me like a queen at all times. To be honest, I took a moment to think...as immoral as this may sound, I wondered if a situation such as this might actually work. So before I shared my own opinions on this topic, I thought it would be fun to find out how others felt about this! Cast your vote in our poll below! Voting will be open until this Sunday, Jan. 22nd. Don't forget to leave your detailed comments and I will give you all a comprehensive write up of my findings!

4 Beauty Tips and Tricks (Continued….)
PART 2: Skin Care & Quick Enhancements
Note: This post is a continuation from my previous post.

#3 Skin Care – Problematic skin will always need more
attention than normal. This doesn’t always mean that you will need more
products! I have tried cleanser after cleanser, both department store brands
and pharmacy brands. The fact of the matter is, the elements in these cleansers
may work for a while but your skin will quickly become used to them and render
them ineffective. The best thing that I have found, costs less than $10 for a
pack of 6-8 bars is plain old Dove soap. If it’s gentle enough for
babies, it will be just as gentle for your face. The great thing that I love
about Dove
is that it is ¼ moisturizing cream, in addition to being a cleanser. The moisturizing properties will help to prevent over drying which can result in further irritation to your skin. Just wash your face twice-a-day, in the morning and at night. Dove is also effective in removing make-up as well without leaving any residue. The second must have is a simple exfoliant. This can be something as simple as a sugar and water combination or an Apricot Scrub (which I use). The St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub retails at Target.com for only $3.04. Skin care experts recommend that you exfoliate once or twice a week. However, if you are battling with problematic skin, this means you are probably producing more sebum (oil) and have more dead skin cells than the average person. For these reasons, I have found that exfoliating once (no more no less) daily will help rid your skin of the excessive build up. It's

4 Beauty Tips and Tricks!
Beauty tips are always welcome to any woman. Especially to the women who have the least amount of time to spend on making themselves feel beautiful. Being a professional make-up artist, I have learned many tips and tricks along the way. This post will definitely not be my last on this topic! Some of the top questions that I receive about is #1 Eyebrows, #2 Oil-Control, #3 Skin Care and
#4 Quick Enhancements. I am well aware that these 4 things are merely scratching the surface on beauty tips but they are the most commonly pondered. I will cover these topic in a two-part blog, so without further ado lets get into it!

It's a Bird! It's a Plane! No Wait...it's Super Mom!
Being a mother and entrepreneur has posed many challenges for me. There are days that I wanted to turn into an Ostrich just to stick my head into a whole in hopes that once I emerged, all the things that needed to be done and accomplished were completed. Needless to say, this was a fantasy and things still needed to be done. My friends always ask me “How in the world do you do everything, and still manage to keep your sanity?” I just tell them that it is organized chaos (and a lot of multi-tasking)! Unfortunately the very first word of advice that I would give the Super Moms of the world is that the DVR is your best friend. We all have favorite shows on television, I personally have about 6 a week, which is 6 hours a week. Many are during the same night, which means that I can find myself sitting in front of the television for 2 or more hours at a time some evenings. Factor in work and the children’s schedules 2 hours is precious time. So instead of cutting short something that is most likely more important because your show is coming on, just record them. This will not only allow you to watch them when you truly have downtime, but it will also cut your TV time almost in half because you will be able to fast-forward though the commercials. The second piece of advice
