Is This Drake's Alleged Ghostwriter?

One question that I have along with others during this entire Meek Vs. Drake beef is: Who is Quentin Miller?

According to Meek Mill, he is supposedly one of Drake’s ghostwriters and he may actually be on to something. The facts are that Quentin is a rapper/producer emerging from the Atlanta music scene who seems to be well-connected.

We also know that out of the few thousand followers he had on Instagram (up until this week)  Drake was one of them. Apparently however, this insinuation is nothing new as KanyeToThe, caught on to Miller’s presence within the OVO circle back in January, just as rumors that Drake was releasing a mixtape soon began gaining steam.

Since this thread has now been given a breath of fresh air with Meek's recent allegations, what was Miller tweets showing his allegiance to Drake and his camp have since been deleted....interesting.

What are your thoughts? Is Meek just blowing smoke or do you think there's actually a fire here somewhere?

Wale Called Upon By Michelle Obama For Initiative!

It's always awesome to see individuals with great social influence using it for a great cause. Wale has been called upon to pay homage to his native hometown of D.C. with his newest social activist matchup for Reach Higher Initiative. Who's the host you ask? Well that would be none other than the First Lady herself, Michelle Obama! I'm sure you're wondering what this initiative
is all about right? Well According to its website, Reach Higher is another effort to improve America’s educational objectives. It is centered around President Obama’s “North Star” goal, which aims for the country to see the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020.

The actual event taking place in conjunction with the initiative is
where all the magic reported that

"The event is a part of the 2015 Beating the Odds Summit that will take place this Thursday (July 23), hosting over 130 college-bound students in the nation’s capital. The “Ambition” rapper will perform for the rising college stars and hold a spot on an E! Newspanel with Mrs. Obama, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and co-founder of college student network 1vyG, Manuel Contreras. The students to attend stem from all different walks of life, including urban, impoverished, foster and homeless backgrounds."

I personally feel this is really awesome, but what did Wale have to say about it? According to AllHipHop, Wale says that working alongside FLOTUS on the project is one of his highest honors. “I believe that the youth are the first step in creating a better country, so to be involved in a program that aims to enrich their lives is truly the greatest reward,” the D.C.-bred MMG signee said. “Having grown up in Washington, D.C., being invited to the White House by the First Lady is a dream come true. Thank you to Mrs. Obama and her entire staff for this opportunity.”

In addition to this prestigious opportunity, the summit will also give students the opportunity to join in on educational workshops and other panels led by organizations such as the U.S. Department of Education and Jaime Casp of Google.

BET Uncut Returns?

If you are over the age of 25 you might recall having the privledge of watching slightly uninhibited music videos during the wee hours of the morning on a program called BET Uncut.

According to, those that haven't had this opportunity may soon be in luck and able to have the guilty pleasure of watching racy uncut music videos such as the likes of Tip Drill (and it's whole "swiping of a credit card" antic lol) in the near future.

What's do you think about the return of BET Uncut and the impact it may have on today's music scene?
